EFI conversion

Been thinking about converting my TW200 from carburetion to EFI and wondering if it's worth the effort. It could improve fuel efficiency, cold starts, and overall performance while reducing maintenance. The challenge is fitting a throttle body, ECU, and fuel system while ensuring the electrical setup can handle it. Has anyone attempted this or have insights on making it work?

it's great if you want to have a better fuel efficiency, but you know that it'll cost a lot to convert to EFI

Your biggest hurdles will probably be fitting the hardware and upgrading the electrical system to handle the ECU and fuel pump

Converting a TW200 to EFI is possible but a big project, while you'd likely gain easier starts, smoother fueling and less carb maintenance, the work of fitting a throttle body, ECU, high pressure fuel pump, and wiring is extensive and often costs more than the bike's value. Most riders stick with carb tuning, but if youre set on EFI, looking into universal EFI conversion kits or donor parts from small EFI bikes might give you a starting point.

@engineerdylan Converting to EFI will improve starts and throttle response, but expect lots of wiring, a fuel pump, and custom fitting. Carb tuning usually does the trick for most.
