Getting back on my TW

I recently started riding my TW again after some time off. I took it on a few 500-mile dirt trips, and now I'm gearing up for the Trans America Trail (TAT). To prepare, I'm upgrading the fuel tank, I have pre-ordered the first blue IMS 4-gallon model, I can't wait to see how it performs! Have any of you done the TAT before?

That sounds like an awesome adventure!! Upgrading to the IMS 4-gallon tank should definitely help with longer stretches between fuel stops. Have you done much prep riding on similar terrain, or is this your first big off-road trip like the TAT?
