Keeping the faith with my 2020 TW200

Still own the TW200 but haven't kicked it over in 6 mos while recovering from a list of setbacks. Took my cruiser out instead after draining corn fuel and nudging the battery back to life. The ride wasn't long but it felt loud in all the right ways. My wife gave the nod and said I've got another season in me...and I know she meant it.

Thanks for the boost, @accurate-may531t! I'm thinking of pulling the tank this weekend just to check what's been growing in there. Battery's been on my list too, might drop it on the charger and see how it responds. Have you ever brought 1 back from that long a nap without swapping parts?

Well said @Aanro. It felt like shaking off months of dust I didn't even know I was carrying. Hoping the TW gives me the same kind of lift once I get into the tank and battery this weekend. Did you ever have one sit that long and still fire up without drama?

@owLmighT3000 Totally get that feeling. Firing up a bike after a long pause is like shaking off months of mental cobwebs. With a TW200, as long as you check the tank for gunk and charge or swap the battery, most will fire up without drama. Have you thought about giving the carb a quick clean while you’re at it? That usually smooths out any hiccups after a long sit.
