Battery issues persisting on my TW200

Was driving to my girlfriend's house 30 miles from mine. I paused for a bit midway for my coffee fix as I wanna keep myself awake. It was evening and I wasn't sleepy but I wanted to be sure. When I turned it off at the parking it was fine, but when I turned it on, I heard no sound. It was kroo-kroo silent. It felt like my battery got drained for the 6-ish minutes I was not driving. I push started and it was okay, I was actually able to reach my gf's safely, but the lights were off apparently (my taillights) because a guy from behind overtook and told me he couldn't see where I was going because of the busted lights. No I didn't notice that because the dash indicator was ok. Good thing the headlight and blinkers came off only when I was 3 minutes away from my gf's or else that was an accident waiting to happen. I can't seem to figure out the root of this problem, but this has happened like 6 times already in the past 2 years. Always, I think it's the battery, so since then I have replaced around 9 times already. A little too much, I know, but yeah. What should I do now? I've given up on the battery replacement.

A potential cause would be a short circuit in one of the lights where a wire is grounding out... Inspect each blinker more particuarly where the wires connect at the light's threads, as the wire insulation often gets worn away in that area.

Alright, enough's enough, nine batteries in two years and still think it's the battery? that's not a battery issue, that's a parasitic drain or charging system failure screaming for attention, should probably stop spending on batteries and test the system properly. use a multimeter t check voltage with engine off, then with it running. If you're not getting around 13.5 to 14.5V while it's running, your alternator's slacking off

Man, sounds like your bike's trying to ghost you every other month! If you've replaced 9 batteries, it's likely not just an issue with the battery itself. It might be a good idea to investigate for a pesky parasitic drain, a faulty ground connection, or maybe even a failing stator or regulator. I'd recommend getting the entire charging system checked out. There's nothing wrong with enjoying your coffee boost, but your bike shouldn't need a jump start every time you head out for a cup
