Tire options

As far as I can tell, the tires on my TW200 are the factory ones. I could be wrong, but anyway they're trash, so I'll be replacing them. Anyone have any recommendation for a good set that isn't overly expensive?

Shinko 244 and SR428 are good budget options for the TW200. The 244 is great if you do both street and trail, while the SR428 is a good stock style replacement.

I'll second @AirMikey2's recommendation on the Shink 244 Golden Boy! It's a great all-around tire that does well on and off-road, and you can usually find a front and rear set for a decent price. Another popular choice for the front is the Shinko 241 trials tire, especially if you're doing more off-road riding!
